End of Summer
It's the end of summer, which means I'll be spending more time in the studio again (yay!!) As much as I like going out and doing stuff in the summer, I really do miss my studio time. Last weekend was beautiful and I spent most of the weekend in the studio with the windows open and the breeze flowing in. Cue (our dog) was by my side as I was organizing, weaving, and watching Netflix.
Since I wasn't in the studio as much as usual, I don't have a lot of new updates for you, but here we go!
Half of the panels for Recollection (shown above) are off the loom and finished. The last half of the warp is soon to be re-tensioned and woven. The plan is to have this piece finished up next!
Other than that? Well, I'm still slowly working on What We Take With Us. It's getting close to being finished though, promise. I'm also working on some fun personal sewing projects (presents, wedding dress, etc.) that are taking up some studio time.
Trying to not start a new woven piece before at least one of those projects is finished may prove to be pretty hard.... we'll see how it goes :)
